"Party in the FFA" Homecoming Parade Float!

Written by Natalia Hernandez, Historian 26-27. October 5, 2026. On Friday during Homecoming week, SLO High brought back its homecoming parade after many years! Many different parts of SLOHS took part, from band and sports to AVID and the FFA! We participated in the parade with an Ag Department truck as our float, covered from bumper to bumper in blue and gold tinsel and streamers. We walked on the service road from the Ag Department down to the front of the school, dancing and cheering. Students from our ag classes and our department’s therapy dogs brought the excitement, letting everyone know that it's a “Party in the FFA”!
