SAE/AET
SAE (Supervised Agricultural Experience) and AET (Agricultural Experience Tracker) are components of agricultural education programs. Every trimester, each student is required to develop and work on an SAE for over 10 hours. These projects provide hands-on experience, while allowing students to develop their passion and learn more about agricultural processes and careers. The AET offers a digital tool for tracking and managing these experiences that can be easily added to resumes. SAE projects and logging working time in AET are used throughout the agricultural classes at San Luis Obispo High School, helping students apply classroom knowledge in real-world settings, develop essential skills, and prepare for successful careers in agriculture.
