2026-27 Officer Retreat Recap

Written by Natalia Hernandez, Historian 26-27. September 2, 2026.Over two weekends, our 2026–2027 Chapter Officer Team and Junior Chapter Officer Team came together for an exciting officer retreat filled with leadership development, goal setting, and team bonding. The Chapter Officer Team visited the Cal Poly Arboretum, planned the year’s theme and calendar, and spent time building stronger relationships. The following weekend, both teams participated in team-building activities, a scavenger hunt at Pismo Beach, and discussions about chapter-wide goals, officer responsibilities, and community service. The Chapter Officer Team also took on a ropes course and zip line at Lopez Lake, putting their teamwork and communication skills to the test. Throughout the retreat, officers focused on building connections, preparing for a successful year, and creating a positive impact on our chapter and community.
