Introducing our new student teacher Ms. Jordan Albiani.
This January, San Luis Obispo FFA have brought in a new student teacher, Ms. Jordan Albiani. Ms. Albiani grew up in Elk Grove, California, a small town near Fresno. In high school, Ms. Albiani was an active member of the Elk Grove FFA. There, she participated in many agricultural based teams, such as Agriscience Fair, Ag Issues, Farm Records and Farm Business Management. Not only was she involved with multiple AG teams, but she was also on her high school’s soccer team, keeping herself very busy. Her family has their own small, shorthorn beef cattle operation, that she and her sister worked and helped out on all through their time in Elk Grove. She also exhibited sheep, cattle, and other various species in fairs, such as the Sacramento fair.
After high school, she went on to graduate from Cal Poly with a degree in agricultural education. Just like in high school, Ms. Albiani kept herself very busy during her time at Cal Poly. She was on the CP Western Bonanza Livestock Show team all through college. She also interned for the American Shorthorn Association coordinating Junior National Shorthorn Show and KEY leadership conference. As said before, Ms.Albiani is fond of working with cattle, so it’s no surprise that she was the student manager for Cal Poly’s Beef Cattle Evaluation Center. After graduating from Cal Poly, Ms. Albiani worked for the California State Fair as the Entries Officer Coordinator. She then returned to Cal Poly as the Event Coordinator for the College of Agriculture, Food and Environmental Sciences. Aside from her work at Cal Poly, Ms. Albiani works as an assistant floral designer for Haute Blossoms Floral out of Santa Barbara. On top of all of this, Ms. Albiani now works with all of us and is part of the the San Luis Obispo High School AG family!
